TW X Navigator North “What brings you here?”

We were commissioned by Navigator North to co-host a pop up event in Exchange Square, to find what people would like to see from that space. Members of The Word donned white boiler suits, and visitors were encouraged to write suggestions on fabric scraps which were then pinned to the suits or write directly on them. We also facilitated a skate jam on the square, and some short history talks with historian Timothy Martin, both on Exchange square, and within Base Camp. We made a short film of the whole day, including testimonials from members of the public about Exchange Square and the impending closure of Base Camp.The boiler suits and film were later on display at Navigator North’s space The Masham.
