The Werd is Masquerade
The Word is Masquerade was a night of theatrics and improv music. The night started with the main show, Chris Kent’s play Compulsion, a reimagining and exploration of Orson Welles. Masquerade then stepped into the ball, with artist Grimesz drawing caricatures of the audience, as they explored the light walls of Katrina Bate’s projected paintings. The last part of the night was the improv orchestra of bands coming together, poet Louise Josephine providing poetry with music, and plenty more theatric performances from bands to end the night.
